Jeff started Certified Auto and Transmission in 1988 working out of the back of a pick-up specializing on farm equiptment. As business grew, he moved the business into larger and better facilities.
Acitve member of ATRA which provided the latest information, techniques and technical support
Jeff begain learning how to rebuild transmissions with his father in-law the owner of the long estamlished business of Hebco Transmission, The Dalles back in the 1980's
Prior to this, Jeff was a jet engine mechanic in the Navy stationed in Alameda, California
Rhonda initially stayed home to raise their children. Once the children were raised, she joined Jeff in managing the business by running the front office and other business activities allowing Jeff to focus more on the mechanical aspects of the business. Rhonda continues to improve her skills by taking business courses.
Rhonda works closely with the Small Business Association to help ensure the business continues to meet the needs of our customers.

Jason started with us in 2007 as a auto mechanic. Jeff is training Jason in automatic transmission rebuilding. Jason participates in ATRA training, literature and seminars
Jason is a great team member, takes pride in his work, and is a real asset to our team.

Jorge has worked for us for 3 years and fluent in Spanish and English. Previously ASE certified and working on re-certification, Jorge is a hard worker and dedicated in improving his skills.
